Casino Night 2008 is a Successful RPAC Fundraiser
The officers and directors of HCAR would like to thank our many RPAC contributors. Ticket sales, pledges, and checks written on the night of June 12th brought us $3,400 closer to our RPAC goal.
The HCAR directors would also like to thank the 258 members who donated a total of $6.450 during the dues renewal period last Fall. Contributions can still be made to RPAC. Make your check out to RPAC and send it to us at HCAR, or make your contribution online at hcar.org!
Increase in the Non-Resident Seller Transfer Tax Takes Effect July 1

This new form is available through the HCAR.org Members Only Forms section. We also have the current form available for settlements closing now through Monday, June 30, 2008.
GRI 300 Offered at Bay Area Association of REALTORS® in July

Our neighbors just over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge are hosting the GRI 300 Series beginning July 21. Use the attached form to register.
Earning your GRI requires taking the GRI 100, 200 and 300 Series . . . in any order! This is a great opportunity to not only learn more, but be well on your way to earning your GRI designation. The 300 Series is offered less frequently and in fewer locations than the 100 and 200 Series.

Higher Loan Limits Are Needed for FHA, Freddie Mac & Fannie Mae
Making the higher loan limits permanent will increase investor confidence and the availability of safe, fair, affordable mortgage credit for borrowers and those wishing to refinance. Higher loan limits will help stabilize mortgage markets and the economy as a whole. Please contact your Senators today to ask them to make the higher loan limits permanent.
